December 17, 2013: The paper in collaboration with Bastian Bloessl, Christoph Sommer, and Falko Dressler received the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Vehicular Networking Conference 2013 held in Boston.
October 1, 2013: After one year and a half in Falko Dressler's group in Innsbruck, Michele Segata will join the group of Professor Renato Lo Cigno at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of the University of Trento, in order to continue pursuing his joint PhD program with the two universities.

September 18, 2012: The dates of the talks by Dr. Irit Hadar have finally be made official. Dr. Hadar will give the first talk entitled The unreasonable power of intuitive thinking: Reason and intuition in software engineering on October, 25th at 10:00. The second talk, entitled Software architecture in agile development, will be held on October, 29th at 10:00. Both talks will take place in room 3W03.

She will work with Prof. Barbara Weber, the Quality Engineering group and will give two talks entitled The unreasonable power of intuitive thinking: Reason and intuition in software engineering and Software architecture in agile development. She will also visit Trento and Bozen Universities.
April 27, 2012: Prof. Brian Fitzgerald from the University of Limerik, Ireland, will give a talk entitled Outsourcing to an Unknown Workforce: Exploring Opensourcing as a Global Sourcing Strategy in the ICT building the 7th of May.
April 24, 2012: Prof. Renato Lo Cigno from the Department of Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento gives a seminar talk about their ongoing research in the field of real-time peer to peer video streaming. The talk takes place on Wednesday the 16th of May at 12.15 at the CCS Lab.

November 24, 2010: Prof. Patrick Hung from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) will visit Prof. Ruth Breu in January (2011) in order to establish a Student Exchange Agreement between Universities of Innsbruck and UOIT.
October 1, 2010: Prof. Bruce White from the Quinnipiac University (Hamden, Connecticut) will visit Prof. Fahringer in November for preparing a Fullbright Specialist Program Stay.
May 2, 2010: Prof. Izhak Rubin from UCLA will give the talk entitled Cross Layer Networking Across Mobile Wireless Networks. The talk will be held on 01/06/2010 in room 3W04, at 14:00.
